This engaging two-part series will highlight key historical figures and events that defined early Prineville and beyond. As a special feature, the series will conclude with a People From Our Past presentation on May 28 at 6:00 PM at the Bowman Museum. This unique event will feature first-person portrayals of:

Monroe Hodges – Prineville’s first surveyor
Susanah Glenn Barnes, wife of Elisha Barnes – The first Euro-American woman settler in Crook County
May Barney – Prineville’s first female mayor
George Barnes – Prineville’s first lawyer
