We will be hosting a charity event for a 501c3 (80-0793856) charity known as Thunder Mountain Farms Equine Rescue, this rescue has a branch dedicated to rescuing wild horses from going to slaughter known as Yakima Orphan Foal Network. A local ranch has taken in 68 of these horses most of which are/were pregnant moms or moms with new born babies. As you can imagine it takes a lot of resources to feed all of these growing babies and hungry mamas, and sense the rescue is still getting slammed with newborns (taken from their mom when mom goes to slaughter) we have been short on funds. That’s were the charity event comes in. We will be having a Silent Auction, Raffle and Live music evening event on the 10th to try and get donors interested and involved, then on the 11th we are having an Open-House/BBQ so everyone can come out and meet the horses. People are welcome to come meet the horses if they are interested in adoption, volunteering, or even if they just want to come see a field full of babies and take some pictures.
