The Bowman Museum is excited to announce the return of the annual ‘May at the Museum Lecture Series’, featuring engaging discussions on Crook County’s rich history. This year’s theme, “The First of Crook County,” highlights the trailblazers, historic events, and milestones that helped shape our community.
A highlight of the series will be a lecture by renowned historian Steve Lent, who will present “The First of Crook County” on Tuesday, May 14, at 6:00 PM at the Bowman Museum. Lent, a longtime researcher of local history, will explore Crook County’s early settlers, businesses, schools, and other pioneering achievements that defined the region.
This lecture series is free and open to the public, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Crook County Historical Society and the Friends of the Crook County Library.
