We are excited to announce the opening of a new exhibit, the Oregon: 150 Million Years in the Making geology display at the Belknap Exhibit Center, which will run from September 9th through October 26th, 2024. This immersive exhibit invites visitors to embark on a journey through the rich and diverse geologic history of Oregon, exploring the forces that have shaped its breathtaking landscapes.

Featuring an array of stunning rock specimens, informative displays, and models, the Oregon: 150 Million Years in the Making geology exhibit offers an in-depth look at the state’s unique geology—from the volcanic peaks of the Cascade Range to the ancient river valleys of Eastern Oregon.
