On Saturday August 11th, McMenamins, Deschutes Brewery, and The Deschutes Historical Museum will be hosting the first annual Bigfoot Bolt and Brews Tour, an event that brings bigfoot enthusiasts, 5k runners, and beer lovers together in Bend. Both McMenamins and Deschutes Brewery have crafted specialty ales for the event and will be hosting guest speakers. Among the featured speakers is Cliff Barackman of the TV show Finding Bigfoot. The 5k will be held in the fall as a fundraiser for Chimps Inc., a local chimpanzee rescue, and a raffle the day of the speaking event.
