Bend Spay+Neuter Project Fur Ball Scheduled for Friday, August 24th

Bend Veterinary Clinic presents fundraiser featuring “Dogs on the Catwalk” in new location for 2018

Bend, OR – 17 July 2018 – The Bend Spay+Neuter Project’s popular annual fundraiser, the Fur Ball, will be held on Friday, August 24 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship venue in Bend. Funds raised at the event allow the organization to fill its mission of keeping pets and people together by providing free and low cost services for cats and dogs in order to create a more humane community. The event has grown in popularity so much that a new, larger venue was selected for the 2018 festivities.

The Fur Ball features dogs in costume, walking the catwalk to compete for audience choice awards, along with great food from Bowtie Catering, a silent and live auction (with a professional auctioneer), commemorative glasses, and a wine wall. Just some of the items up for auction this year include “Date Night for a Year” featuring the area’s best dining locales, golf at some of the region’s best courses, and other outdoor adventures, plus amazing trips to the Maui, Scotland, Oregon Coast, Napa Valley, a Mario Andretti Racing Experience and more.

When: Friday, August 24, 5:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Where: Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 61980 Skyline Ranch Rd, Bend, OR 97703

Admission: $85 individual ticket; $600 table of eight; purchase at https://www.bendsnip.org/collections/furball-2016-registration
This event is 21 and over.

The 2018 Fur Ball would not be possible without platinum presenting sponsor, Bend Veterinary Clinic, plus local sponsors including Lavabelles, Stride Canine Rehabilitation, Dancin’ Woofs, Zuri Group, Tokyo Starfish, First Interstate Bank and Riverside Animal Hospital.
