CORVALLIS, OR — Two brothers from Oregon State University are running 30 miles per day in 30 of Oregon’s 36 counties to promote healthy living.
Isaiah Godby, 23, says that he and his brother Jeremiah Godby, 21, are exercise and sports science majors in the College of Public Health and Human Sciences.
They are almost halfway through their run, which will total nearly 1700 miles over 61 days.
Jeremiah says that after giving up a sedentary lifestyle and becoming more active, he lost 45 pounds.
They will be stopping at several extension campuses to celebrate the recent accreditation of OSU’s College of Public and Health Sciences.
They began running on July 7th on the Oregon State campus in Corvallis expect to finish September 5th back at OSU.
