Redmond, Ore. – Avalon Aeropub, located upstairs in the boarding lounge at the Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM), is closed for remodeling. The reopening will be February 01, 2016. This project will double the square footage and the seating capacity of the dining area. Upgrades will include a state of the art beer and wine dispensing system, granite table tops, family friendly booth seating, and multiple high definition television monitors. Local Central Oregon area contractors will be utilized for this project.
Dan Brawn, Avalon Aeropub Owner, states “We are excited for the opportunity to serve Central Oregon in this Airport. This expansion is a demonstration of our commitment to providing our customers with the level of service and the experience they deserve.”
During the closure of the Avalon Aeropub RDM passengers will find an expanded selection of “Grab and Go” sandwiches, wraps, and salads from Dancing River Café located on the main floor of boarding lounge. Alcoholic beverages will not be available during the remodeling project.
Zachary Bass, Airport Business Manager, commented “We are very excited to offer our growing customer base expanded options at the Redmond Airport. Some travelers have yet to discover the great food and beverage options on our mezzanine level.”
