Event Description:
Theme: Bend commemorates the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII and the 40th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. This year’s parade will honor our “Living Legacies”.
Parade Route: NW Harmon – Newport Avenue – South on Wall Street – Riverside Drive to Galveston
Parade Registration: FREE. Everyone is invited to participate! The Veterans Day Parade of Bend is seeking veterans, community organizations, schools, bands, businesses and individuals for the 2015 Veterans Day Parade on November 11, which will be at 11 a.m. in downtown Bend. Entries are military units from all branches of service, school ROCT units, school bands, VFW Posts, other associations that have a military presence and private and public organizations that want to honor our veterans.
Whether it be a marching unit or band, a specific float or just a decorated vehicle, everyone is invited to be in the parade and help us honor our veterans. Please join us by participating as a sign of respect for our military and its veterans.

Steve Esselstyn, former special events liaison of the Bend Police Department, supports our veterans! He has donated a check to cover the cost of parade permits for 10 years! Steve is also a member of the Band of Brothers. We offer thanks and wish to acknowledge his generosity and loving service to our community.
