Juniper Pool Open Early Due To Heat

Bend, Ore. – Today the Bend Parks and Recreation District announced that the Juniper Swim & Fitness Center’s outdoor activity pool is now open for daily swimming and play.

Due to early summer-like weather, a special Family Swim session was added for today through Wednesday, June 10th, 4:00 – 7:00 pm, to help families beat the heat.

All pools at Juniper will begin full summer operational hours beginning Thursday, June 11th at 1:00 pm.

Featuring a two-story tall slide, water toys and spray features, the outdoor activity pool’s summer schedule is as follows:

• Family swim, daily: 10:30 am – 1:00 pm
• Open recreation swim, daily: 1:00 – 4:00 pm (all pools)
• Family swim, daily: 4:05 – 7:15 pm
