Stroke Awareness Oregon (SAO), a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing stroke-related death and disability, announces an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader to join its team as Executive Director. This three-quarter time position offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on stroke prevention and survivor support in Oregon communities.
Under the interim leadership of Carol Stiles, SAO has continued to advance its mission of stroke prevention education and survivor support. As the organization looks to its next chapter, it seeks a permanent Executive Director to build upon this foundation and lead SAO’s strategic growth.
“Carol’s dedicated interim leadership has helped position SAO for continued success,” said Jim Patterson, President of SAO’s Board of Directors. “We are now seeking an Executive Director who shares our passion for stroke prevention and survivor support, and who can help us expand our impact throughout Oregon and beyond. The ideal candidate will bring both vision and hands-on leadership to this crucial role.”
