Redmond Police Search For Dry Canyon Arsonist

The Redmond Police Department is currently investigating a series of fires that have been intentionally set in the Dry Canyon. The fires started in the evening hours of 9/5, 9/7, 9/10 and 9/13, 2024. The fires have been set at or near access points to the Dry Canyon Trail near SW Obsidian Avenue and SW Pumice Avenue.

The fires were able to be extinguished quickly by the Redmond Fire Department, and the Redmond Police Department is actively searching for a male suspect. The photographs below are from surveillance video on 9/13/24.
