Two Unrelated RV Fires In Crook County…

Prineville, Ore. -Crook County Fire and Rescue responded to two RV fires yesterday afternoon. The first call came in at 4:01pm with the second call coming in 30 minutes later.

Crews arrived at the first scene south of Prineville to find a RV trailer that was fully engulfed. Access was difficult due to the location of the trailer, but once on scene, crews quickly extinguished what was left of the trailer.

Crews arriving at the second scene north of Prineville found smoke coming out of a motorhome style RV. Firefighters were again able to quickly extinguish the fire, but substantial damage was done to the interior of the RV.

Four engines, two ambulances, and a water tender responded to the calls with a total of 15 firefighters.

The causes are under investigation by Crook County Fire and Rescue.
