At approximately 12:34 pm, Redmond Fire & Rescue responded on a reported structure fire at 1617 SW 24th St. As crews left the fire station, a large column of smoke was visible, and additional resources were called in to assist. Upon arrival of fire crews in was determined that a backyard containing numerous vehicles was full engulfed in fire with fire moving quickly towards a residence.
Fire crews worked quickly to stop the spread of the fire and ensure everyone had safely evacuated the residence.
There were no reports of any injuries and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
Redmond Fire & Rescue was assisted by Bend Fire & Rescue, Cloverdale RFPD and Redmond Police.
