When Bend Police Detectives arrived on scene at the suspicious death investigation on May 30th they observed what appeared to be suspicious injuries to 62-year-old David Carroll Hickman. An autopsy was performed on May 31st, which revealed Hickman had several injuries. Bend Police Detectives continued the investigation and determined a 31-year old man was a person of interest. The suspect was contacted Friday afternoon in Bend and jailed for Murder in the 2nd degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. The investigation is ongoing.
