i4Education Hosts ‘The Shared Experience’

shared-experience

Central Oregon’s nonprofit i4Education organization is proud to announce The Shared Experience on May 23 from 6 to 9:30 pm at Open Space Events Studios in Bend. The Shared Experience is a rebrand of the region’s TED Ed talks which started in 2022 and sold out in 2023. The new format includes talks, as well as other forms of creative expression such as spoken word/poetry, music and visual art. All of the presenters will continue to center around innovation in education and in the spirit of TED Ed, the event is designed to inspire and engage thinking around how to support kids and those who teach and care for them.

Prior to the event, The Shared Experience presenters had the option of participating in a workshop series led by Diane Murray, HDESD’s director of innovation, Geraldine Casimiro, HDESD’s director of language justice + access, and Marcus LeGrand, Central Oregon Community College’s afrocentric program coordinator and instructor.

Sponsored by Solaire Homebuilders and the Central Oregon Regional Educator Network, The Shared Experience special guest is Jason McNeal Graham (MOsley WOtta).

To learn more about the May 23 presenters, or to purchase tickets, use the QR code or visit the i4Education website.
