Central Oregon is invited to a screening of To What Remains, a full-length documentary based on the work of Project Recover, an organization searching for American MIAs in order to reunite some of the thousands of families who still live with the loss of a loved one from war. To What Remains takes viewers on an emotional journey to honor our fallen servicemen, from the discovery of wreckage on the seafloor in the South Pacific to the living room of a stunned family in middle America to a well-deserved final resting place at home. Project Recover CEO and Bend resident, Derek Abbey, will be in attendance for a post-show Q&A.
Recent headlines have shared news of success regarding the repatriation of Anthony Di Petta, for whom Project Recover researched, searched, located, documented and recovered. Just two weeks ago we read of the Heaven Can Wait recovery mission. Project Recover located that site in 2017.
Come out on Thursday, May 25th, at 5 pm to the Redmond VFW, in honor of the upcoming Memorial Day holiday.
