Join Oregon Natural Desert Association on Friday, October 1 as they host a virtual, streamed-in-HD, Wild and Scenic Film Festival, and share a collection of films that speak to environmental concerns and celebrate our planet. The selection of films in Bend will take the audience on a journey throughout North America, highlighting stunning natural wonder and emphasizing the need to protect our wild places.

Here We Stand, directed by Chris Cresci, takes you to a magical 700-acre stand of old-growth redwoods in Sonoma County, where Save the Redwoods League is seeking help from communities of color to reimagine its role in a diverse, inclusive California.

Last Call for Moose Mountain, a film by Joe Fairbanks, tells the story of a group of backcountry skiers fighting to prevent development of Moose Mountain’s public land and protect their most coveted terrain.

Water Flows Together, directed by Palmer Morse, Taylor Graham, and Matt Mikkelsen, introduces viewers to Colleen Cooley, a Navajo river guide who expresses her deep kinship with indigenous lands and the importance of the San Juan River to the landscape and her ancient culture. And, these are just three of the 11 awe inspiring films that will be screened. More Info:  https://onda.org/event/wsff/
