Redmond, Oregon – An informational town hall on healthcare will be held Friday, March 13, 2020 over the lunch hour at the Redmond Senior Center in partnership with Hospice of Redmond. Due to space and meal preparation, an RSVP is requested by Thursday, March 12 at info@redmondseniors.org or calling the Center. Lunch will be available at noon and the discussion is expected to begin at approximately 12:30 p.m. at 325 NW Dogwood in the Redmond Senior Center.
Dr. Knute Buehler and Dr. David Tretheway will review local and national issues ranging from prescription drug prices to the recent outbreak of respiratory illness, COVID-19, caused by a novel (new) coronavirus. Additional experts will also be on hand to assist with discussion and questions.

Dr. Tretheway serves as Medical Director for Hospice of Redmond, is certified with the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine and practices internal medicine with Desert Peaks Health Care. A 1985 Cum Laude graduate of OHSU, he and his family moved to Redmond in 1989.
Dr. Knute Buehler is an orthopedic surgeon, inventor, husband, father, and former state representative. As a doctor and policymaker, Knute understands the roles we must all take to stay healthy during the Covid 19 outbreak, including, government information sharing, medical contingency planning, and community preparedness.
