Juniper Elementary School Deals With Sewer System Problem

Bend, Ore. – Dec. 9, 4 p.m. update: Crews are working at Juniper Elementary School to repair a blockage in the sewer system caused by tree roots growing into the pipe. The work will be completed as soon as possible, but could take several days depending on what crews find.

Water is available for hand-washing and drinking fountain use. Students are utilizing 10 on site port-a-potty style bathrooms and hand-washing stations on campus.Breakfasts and lunches will be delivered to students tomorrow from Bend-La Pine Schools’ production kitchen.
