The inaugural Buddy Walk to promote Down Syndrome Awareness is September 21st at Riverbend Park in Bend.  The walk takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Registration starts at 10 a.m.  Cost is $5, individuals with Down Syndrome and children under three are free.  There will be a picnic after the walk.  The day includes fun and festivities as Central Oregonians celebrate individuals and families impacted by Down Syndrome
