Redmond Police Investigate Shooting

On February 8, 2026, at approximately 8:44 p.m., Redmond Police Department (RPD) officers were dispatched to a male who had called 9-1-1 reporting he had been shot after a property dispute.  Officers arrived in an undeveloped area south of the Deschutes County Fairgrounds and located one adult male with a gunshot wound.  The male was transported by medics to St. Charles hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  

Several persons have been identified and contacted regarding the incident.  Officers, detectives, and the Oregon State Police Crime Lab are on site processing the crime scene.  The shooting investigation is ongoing.
