Join the Bend community Friday,  December 6, 2024, for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting event in downtown Bend. Festivities will take place outside The Commons in Brooks Alley from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., with the tree lighting countdown scheduled around 5:45 p.m.

Attendees can enjoy performances of favorite holiday songs by local choirs, sip on hot cocoa, and visit with Santa—be sure to bring your camera or cellphone for photos.

Mayor Kebler will join the celebration, and Central Oregon Daily will broadcast live during their 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. newscasts. After the tree lighting, take a stroll through downtown for the first Friday artwork and admire the twinkling lights that add to the holiday magic
