Exploring the Roots of Central Oregon Wine: A Lecture at the Bowman Museum

The Bowman Museum will host Cindy Grossmann, owner of Faith Hope and Charity Winery, for a lecture on the “History of Central Oregon Wine.”

Her winery, Faith Hope and Charity, has been instrumental in establishing the region’s reputation for quality wine, and her insights into the wine-making challenges and successes here will offer a rare glimpse into this growing industry” Sean Briscoe, Bowman Museum.

Clink! A Taste of Oregon Wine Exhibit will be featured at the Belknap Exhibit Center, Bowman Museum from Nov. 9 – Dec. 31. Clink! A Taste of Oregon Wine exhibition explores the story of Oregon wine. The narrative spans over 150 years, from the pioneers who brought grapevines on the Oregon Trail to the winegrowers who blazed a new trail in the 1960s to the innovations continuing to take place across the state. Supported by Oregon Historical Society’s traveling exhibits.

City of Bend Seeks UGB Feedback

The City of Bend is seeking community feedback on two potential site options for a one-time Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) expansion. The two sites under consideration are: Jasper Ridge, located near the east side of town, and
