Silver Moon Brewing is thrilled to announce the successful completion of its first year in a partner brewing arrangement with Migration Brewing. The collaboration has yielded significant efficiencies and growth opportunities for both breweries, culminating in the creation of a special collaboration IPA named Birds & Moons.
Since entering the partnership in 2023, Silver Moon and Migration Brewing have worked closely to streamline operations and share resources, resulting in enhanced production capabilities and increased distribution. Both breweries have benefited from the synergy created by their shared commitment to quality and innovation.
“We are incredibly pleased with what we have accomplished together over the past year,” said James Watts, Co-Owner of Silver Moon Brewing. “Our partnership with Migration has not only strengthened our operational efficiencies but has also allowed us to explore new creative avenues and perfect a few challenges we’ve experienced as a brewery over the years. We’re excited to celebrate this milestone with a collaboration beer that embodies the spirit of our teamwork.” Silver Moon was an early champion of contract brewing strategies and has brewed for a number of breweries both in and outside of Central Oregon.
The Birds & Moons is a bold 7.1% ABV IPA brewed with lager yeast and a perfectly curated blend of Chinook, Citra, Mosaic and local Amarillo hops. The beer features a light and crisp mouthfeel, with a snappy finish. Birds & Moons IPA promises to deliver a one-of-a-kind taste experience that reflects the innovative spirit of the collaboration.

Migration hopes to add 2-3 additional partners to the program for 2025.
