Man Jailed After Transporting Meth To Central Oregon

A Salem man was jailed after police stopped him east of Sisters with a large amount of methamphetamine. On August 10th, 2024, Deschutes County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a black 2001 Suzuki motorcycle in the area of Cloverdale Rd./Farthing Ln. The rriver of the motorcycle had a suspended license and was on parole for delivery of methamphetamine.

Deputies located a large quantity of methamphetamine in his possession, along with a scale, and packaging material. This overall investigation revealed that he is transporting and distributing methamphetamine to Central Oregon. He was transported and booked into the Deschutes County Adult Jail.

CODE Detectives were assisted by the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office during this investigation.
