bend-17

Each year the City of Bend joins and supports numerous community partners in celebrating Welcoming Week, a series of community-organized events that engage neighbors with diverse perspectives, backgrounds, experiences and cultures in discussions and actions that advance more welcoming spaces. This year, Welcoming Week is from September 13-22.

The City of Bend is funding 10 events as part of Welcoming Week 2024. This year’s theme, We’re All In, invites communities to showcase how they’re building places that value all perspectives, backgrounds, experiences and cultures.

The City of Bend is offering financial support to community groups organizing events for Welcoming Week. Applications are now being accepted through May 24 with decisions on financial assistance awards announced on July 1.
