Friday Closures And Delays

All schools in Bend-La Pine, Redmond, Jefferson, and Crook county are closed Friday, Jan. 19 due to weather conditions. All COCC campuses are closed Friday. All classes and events are canceled, including remote/online classes. The closure includes both on-campus and remote personnel. For the latest information, visit https://www.cocc.edu/emergency.

The OSU-Cascades campus is closed Friday, due to weather conditions.  Students are advised to check Canvas for affected classes.

Deschutes Co. Circuit Court: Closed Friday

State offices are closed Friday in the following counties: Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson. Hybrid and remote workers will work regular hours. Visit www.oregon.gov/das for more info (incl. details for hybrid and remote workers). This notice does NOT cover courts or legislative offices.

Bend Park and Recreation District is delaying opening of its recreation facilities due to inclement weather. The Pavilion, Juniper Swim & Fitness Center and Larkspur Community Center will open at 8:30 a.m., weather permitting, on Friday, Jan. 19. Patrons are strongly encouraged to check the website and emails in advance for any further changes. Keep updated on Operational Changes including cancellations and closures on BPRD’s website.

All Mid Oregon Credit Union locations will open at 10 a.m. Members are encouraged to manage their accounts using Digital Banking.

Due to weather conditions, some Mosaic Community Health sites throughout the region may be closed or have delayed openings.
Patients who are affected will be contacted directly; virtual or phone visits may be possible.

Due to the ice storm last night and school closures throughout the region, we, unfortunately, are CANCELING our scheduled ribbon cutting of Rooted at Poplar. We will not be able to reschedule again because most of our homeowners are moving in next week.
