Missing Woman Found Safe In Southern Oregon

A 34-year-old Bend woman who was reported missing after she left her home Monday to walk to a convenience store has been found alive and safe in Southern Oregon. Bend Police say Nadeyda Vergara Aguilar was found on the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 14th. She is currently receiving medical attention, and an investigation is ongoing to determine the reasons for her disappearance and whether any crime occurred.

Bend Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a Bend woman who was reported missing around 10:38 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12.

Nadeyda Vergara Aguilar, 34, left her home in the 2700 block of NE Milltown Lane around 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12 to walk to Quickway Market at the intersection of Boyd Acres and Butler Market roads. She left her children with a family member and reportedly told the family member she would be back soon.

Vergara Aguilar did not return. An employee at Quickway Market reported seeing her at the store. The employee did not see which way she left after leaving and reported that no one was with her.

Vergara Aguilar does not have a phone and has only lived in the area for two months.

She is identified as a Hispanic female who is 5 feet 1 inch tall and 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white jacket, black pants and black shoes.

Bend Police detectives and officers are actively investigating Vergara Aguilar’s disappearance.
