Bend Man Dies In Cold Temps

Police do not believe foul play was involved after the body of a 59-year-old Bend man was found in front of a southwest Bend coffee shop. On February 23rd at 05:37am, 911 Dispatch received a call from a community member who found the body near 120 SW Century Drive. Bend Fire and Rescue, along with Bend Police Officers responded to the location. The male was quickly determined to be deceased.

“The investigation is ongoing, but has revealed no suspicious circumstances or foul play. Intoxicants and weather are believed to be contributing factors of death,” according to Bend PoliceNo .

Officers have been working to notify next of kin.

In December, Oregon’s seasonally adjusted nonfarm payroll employment declined by 3,700 jobs, following a revised increase of 3,700 jobs in November. December’s gains were largest in health care and social assistance (+1,900 jobs) and government (+700). Declines were largest in leisure and
