The Central Oregon Drug Enforcement Team concluded a long-term drug trafficking investigation with the arrest of a Bend man Wednesday. Detectives identified Dorian Jay Decker, 28, as a cocaine trafficker in the central Oregon area. Police say Decker imported large quantities of cocaine from other parts of Oregon into the Bend area where it was distributed through various networks.

After a multi-county surveillance operation, Decker was contacted during a traffic stop on Highway 20 in the City of Sisters. CODE Detectives applied for and received a Search Warrant for Decker’s black Honda Fit. The Honda was stopped with the Search Warrant authority and not for a specific traffic violation.

A Warm Springs Police narcotic K9, assigned to CODE, alerted to controlled substances inside the Honda.

A subsequent search of the car located a sizeable amount of cocaine, Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), scales and packaging.

Decker’s three passengers were released without charges. Decker was charged with Unlawful Possession, Manufacture, and Attempted Distribution of Cocaine, Unlawful Possession, Manufacture, and Attempted Distribution of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), Unlawful Possession of a Schedule I drug.
