Empty Bowls Fundraiser Set For Nov. 7th

neighbor-impact-120x60
The 20th Annual NeighborImpact Empty Bowls fundraising event will take place on November 7, 2021 at the Coats Campus Center at Central Oregon Community College. After choosing a handcrafted bowl from the bowl room, attendees will enjoy live music and a delicious lunch of soup or chili prepared and served by students at the Cascade Culinary Institute at COCC, as well as homemade bread, refreshments, and dessert.

Empty Bowls is an internationally recognized event that raises awareness of hunger and hunger-related issues. Guests keep their handcrafted bowls as a reminder of the thousands of bowls that remain empty each day in Central Oregon and around the world. Locally, funds raised from this event support NeighborImpact and its Emergency Food Assistance program. This program distributes nearly four million pounds of food throughout our region each year and, together with our 51 food partners in Central Oregon, we feed approximately 28,000 food-insecure residents each month.
