The Oregon Department of Transportation will host an open house Wednesday (8/4/21) to highlight updated plans for measures to improve safety through Terrebonne from Lower Bridge Way to NW 10th Street.
The area has been the subject of ongoing concerns due to the high speed and volume of traffic on U.S. 97 and the difficulty of making turns onto or from Lower Bridge Way, which is a primary access point for residents of Crooked River Ranch.
The open house will take place from 6-8 p.m. at Terrebonne Community School, located at 1199 B Ave., Terrebonne, OR 97760.
No formal presentation is planned. Instead, attendees will be able to move from station to station where they can review exhibits highlighting project components. They will also be able to ask questions and offer feedback to ODOT staff and partners from Deschutes and Jefferson counties, who will also be in attendance.
Persons interested in attending the open house are encouraged to stagger their visits to help maintain social distancing, and to allow more opportunities for one on one conversations with ODOT and County staff.
