Car Crashes Into Five Guys Burgers, No Injuries

A 67-year-old Bend man said his foot slipped when he crashed his car into a restaurant in northeast Bend Monday. No injuries were reported. Police responded at 1:06 p.m. to Five Guys Burgers and Fries, located at 222 NE Emerson Avenue.

“Through investigation …Charles John Barley was attempting to park his Rav 4 in a parking stall when his foot slipped from the brake onto the gas pedal causing him to accelerate into the building,” Bend Police reported. Barley was issued citations for traffic violations related to the crash.
