Cascade Relays invites runners and hikers to reach the summit of 5 local buttes in Central Oregon, offering “The Big Butte Challenge.” According to their website, the event safely brings people together to accomplish one common goal: to reach the summit of 5 Buttes in Central Oregon.
Between March 20 and May 31, participants hike or run each butte, on their own schedule, using GPS tracking to submit times to the virtual results portal. After each summit, participants can visit the sponsored butte brewery and receive a pint on the house.
The five breweries participating: 10 Barrel Brewing, Wild Ride Brewing, Bend Brewing Company, Worthy Brewing and Deschutes Brewery. More Info Register
