Protesters rally to reopen Oregon at state capitol

Demonstrators gathered at the Oregon capitol in Salem Saturday in a rally to reopen the state.

Those who joined the event said the goal was to get the message across while still social distancing.

Some wore masks and spread out, and others came together in groups. Overall the message was the same, telling the governor they’d like to get back to work.

US26 Reopens North of Warm Springs

US Highway 26 has been reopened from a previous incident at MP92 near Warm Springs due to a tanker truck rollover crash. A hazardous materials cleanup is still underway, but ODOT is reporting no to minimum delays.
