Central Oregon Emergency Loans Available on Monday, May 4!

Employers located in Crook, Deschutes, or Jefferson counties, Oregon, with less than 20 Full Time Employees as of the end of the calendar year 2019 are eligible to apply for a loan. The jurisdiction of any business will be determined by the physical address of the business.

Funding Preference
Loan applications will be evaluated through a scoring matrix. Funding preference will be adjusted depending on investor interests, including the potential of providing preference to rural communities, low income business owners, and/or minority business owners, and so on. These parameters may be adjusted if and when other partners invest in the program, depending on their investment priorities. COIC will communicate any such preferences.

Loan terms

  • Loan Amount
    • Crook & Jefferson Counties: $5,000-$20,000
    • Deschutes County: up to $10,000
  • Interest Rate: 2.5%
  • Term: up to 60 months
  • Mandatory monthly business check-in & financial reporting during zero payment period

Repayment Schedule

  • Months 1-6, zero payments (payments deferred)
  • Months 7-12, interest-only payments
  • Months 13-60, term principal & interest payments
