An active weather pattern will affect travel throughout the Pacific Northwest this week. Today, numerous snow showers will develop along the Blue Mountains as well as the east slopes of the Washington Cascades along the Interstate 90 corridor. From Tuesday night through Wednesday night, a winter storm will bring heavy snow as well as blowing and drifting snow to the east slopes of the Oregon Cascades, Central Oregon, and the John Day- Ochoco Highlands.
