NEW TODAY: Earthquake Hits Off Oregon Coast

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The U.S. Geological Survey said Wednesday (4.10.19) that a magnitude 4.7 earthquake struck in the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of Oregon.

KOIN 6 News, CBS Portland said the small earthquake happened Wednesday morning about 235 miles west of Coos Bay.

The earthquake had a total depth of 6 miles.

There were no reports of damage, plus no tsunami warnings issued.
