A drugged Bend man blinded a man in a crash, now he’s headed to prison

A Bend man who was on drugs when he crashed, causing serious injuries to two men, is sentenced to more than five years in prison.

One victim, Terry Neil of the Sunriver-area, is blind as a result of the 2016 wreck.

Richard Rose pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and assault.

The Bulletin reports, in addition to the prison sentence, Rose was ordered to pay Neil $39-thousand-dollars.
