Sunriver’s embattled police chief officially steps down.

Marc Mills resigned and is expected to plead guilty or no contest to harassment charges on March First.

He’s accused of pushing one of his sergeants.

A Sunriver Service District investigation discovered other instances of Mills losing his temper and fears of retaliation from employees.

Mills had been on paid leave since early December.
