Beware of Rattle Snakes in Central Oregon

KTVZ Reports– The Western rattlesnake can strike at any time and is the most venomous animal that lives in Central Oregon.

While Alyssa Walsh was camping at Prineville Reservoir a rattlesnake bit her.

90 minutes after the bite she was flown to St. Charles Bend and was immediately given anti-venom. throughout the night staff continuously checked on her breathing and swelling. It took 16 vials of anti-venom to cure the toxic bite.
