The City of Prineville Ready To Host NPRA Finals

Prineville, Ore. – Prineville’s the spot this week where top rodeo cowboys and cowgirls from across the region will compete in the 2016 Northwest Professional Rodeo Association Finals.

The competition is set for Friday and Saturday in the indoor arena at the Crook County Fairgrounds.

The NPRA is known as the largest regional rodeo organization in the western U.S. Each year, the association sanctions more than 40 rodeos in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada and California, culminating in September with the NPRA finals.

Cowboy Shane Erickson of Terrebonne will be one of the featured contestants in the finals. He won the all-around championship at the Pendleton Round-up.
