Klamath Falls Murder Suspect Sought

Klamath Falls, Ore. – Klamath County Police are looking for a person of interest in connection with a murder at a local Inn. On Sunday, January 3, 2016, at approximately 12:30 a.m. the Klamath Falls Police Department conducted a welfare check on a room at the Rivers Inn located at 11 Main Street in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Officers discovered the body of Rick William Aston (DOB 7-4-58). The Klamath County Major Crime was activated to respond and is investigating this matter as a murder.

Jaurdyn A. Mosttler (DOB 7-3-96) a previously identified person of interest in this matter is currently in custody at the Klamath County Jail for a probation violation. Help from the public is no longer being sought to find her.

The Klamath Falls Major Crime Team is still seeking assistance from the public to locate Matthew Dean Reyes (DOB 02-05-1989) the suspect in this case. A nationwide arrest warrant for Murder, Assault in the First Degree, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon has been issued for Matthew Dean Reyes who is a Native American adult male, 6′ 1″ tall, weighing approximately 225 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. He is a resident of Beaverton but has recently been seen in Klamath Falls near Shasta Way.
