Redmond, Ore. – The Redmond School District confirms to KBNW news that police were investigating a possible threat to the school this morning. It turns out the threat was not valid and the school was not placed in lock down.
Here is the message to the public on the school’s facebook page:
Hello families,
This morning RHS received a report that could have been a danger to the school. The school immediately initiated safety protocols and students were asked to stay in their classrooms. Shortly thereafter, law enforcement determined that the threat was not valid.
The school and campus are safe and all students have returned to their normal class schedule.
