Portland, Ore. -One person is deceased and two other injured in a crash on SR Hwy 18 near Portland.
Alcohol and Marijuana use are being investigated as contributing factors of the crash.
Oregon State Police say on Saturday at approximately 7:57 AM, a white Chevrolet Malibu, was traveling eastbound on SR Hwy 18 near MP 28 when the vehicle veered off the road and struck a tree.
The operator of the vehicle, identified as 30 year old Jose Bermudez Gutierrez from Portland had minor injuries. The right rear passenger, identified as 22 year old Brian Quintana from Portland, was transported to OHSU with critical injuries. The right front passenger, identified as 21 year old Juan Bermudez Gutierrez from Portland, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Jose Bermudez Gutierrez and Juan Bermudez Gutierrez were brothers.
