Eugene Man Arrested In Alleged Bi-Mart Burglary

Bend, Ore. – This morning shortly after midnight at 12:33 AM Bend Police Officers responded to an alarm at the Bi-Mart store.

Officers arrived and located 18 year old Andrew Ward of Eugene on the roof of the business. Bend Police say Ward had attempted to enter the business through multiple points of access on the roof. Ward accessed an HVAC unit, which resulted in damages to the building and HVAC system.

Ward was taken into custody without incident and lodged at the Deschutes County Jail.

Charges:

Burglary in the second degree
Criminal Trespass in the second degree
Criminal Mischief in the first degree
