DUII Arrest In Crook County

Prineville, Ore. – On December 20, 2014 at 12:55 PM deputies from the Crook County Sheriff’s Office and trooper from Oregon State police responded to a single vehicle accident on Paulina Hwy near mile post 7. The crash was reported to be a single vehicle in the ditch and non-blocking.

Upon arrival deputies located John Smith age 70, of Prineville still seated in the vehicle Smith reported he was un-injured and refused medical treatment .

It was determined that Smith was travelling West on Paulina Hwy when he drove off the road. Crook County Towing responded and cleared the roadway. Smith was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants and cited for open container. Smith was lodged in the Crook County Jail.
