Crook County, Prineville Law Enforcement Check On Sex Offenders

Prineville PD carPRINEVILLE, Ore. — The Crook County Sheriff’s Office and the Prineville Police Department conducted its annual “Sex Offender Addressing verification Program,” known as SOAP.

During the program, Officers physically verify the proper registration of all known Sex Offenders in Prineville and in Crook County.

After looking into the known addresses of 68 offenders, Prineville Police are investigating 6 for failure to register as a sex offender.

Meanwhile, the Sheriff’s Office looked into 72 offenders.

Deputies are now investigating 3 for failure to register in Crook County.
