Major St. Charles Bend Remodel Project Begins Monday

The two-and-a-half year remodel to the patient tower will increase patient room size by an estimated 30%.

BEND, Ore. — Starting Monday, St. Charles Bend will undergo a nearly $28 million Bend tower remodel project. 

After completion, patient rooms will be 30 percent larger, bathrooms will increase in size and many will meet ADA requirements. Crews will also update electrical, plumbing, and ventilation in the structure.

The project will be completed in eight phases over a two-and-a-half year period.
